Derrek Lee of the Chicago Cubs has recently guest-starred in an episode of NBC’s drama series “ER.” The player continues the fight to raise public awareness and funds for research into the condition of Lebers Congenital Amaurosis, or LCA. Derrek Lee’s dedication has helped The Project 3000 Fund raise more than one million US dollars of additional research funds. All contributions that will be received from the November 9th “Fight 2 the Finish II” event will be donated to The Project 3000 Fund.
