Chicago Names Riggins as Pitching Coordinator
The Cubs have named Mark Riggins as their minor league pitching coordinator. Riggins, 50 years old, has worked within the Cardinals organization for the past twenty-nine years. Most recently, as minor league pitching coordinator of St. Louis. Earlier, Mark Riggins served as the St. Louis Cardinals’ MLB pitching coach under Mike Jorgensen and Joe Torre in 1995. He also spent 5 seasons playing as a pitcher on different Cardinal farm teams.
