Blackhawks wins their third straight game

Blackhawks are on top of their game at present as they have won their last three games convincingly and the last game they played against Colorado in front of a sell out crowd of over 21,000 people at the Untied Center was a visual treat to their fans. The Blackhawks defeated the Colorado two goals to one and the win for the Blackhawks has to be attributed to the contribution of Patrick Lalime’s goaltending as well as the ideal penalty kicks.

The winning goal was scored by Martin Havalat in the 2nd period and the Chicago coach Denis Savard came up with tactics of starting the game with a strong physical line up of players like Craig Adams, Adam Burish and Martin Lapointe. The first goal for the Hawks came within 36 seconds of the first power play and it was the first one for the Hawks in 14 tries of the previous three games played against Colorado Avalanche. The Chicago Blackhawks coach gave credit to the penalty killers for bringing home the game and the Hawks have taken the series against the Avalanche 3 – 1. The Hawks coach seemed pretty happy with the result and said that the defense is jelling together as a unit and is taking appropriate decisions when it matters the most.
