Zambrano showed in class in the game against the Reds

The big Carlos Zambrano showed his manager Lou Piniella and his fans, who witnessed the game by purchasing tickets, his hitting skills last Wednesday night when he came up with a spectacular array of shots to make a career high of three hits in the game against Cincinnati Reds. The great form of Zambrano and Lee helped the Chicago Cubs rout the Cincinnati Reds 121-3 on Wednesday night.
The manager Lou Piniella said that he was always teasing Zambrano of being only a batting practice hitter, but he came up with a stupendous hitting form in the game against the Reds that made his manager detract his earlier statement. Zambrano gives credit to the bananas, water and Gatorade for helping him stay cramp free and said that he has included lots of bananas in his diet to keep him going. Zambrano has so far achieved 16 multi hit games in his career and is very much pleased with his achievement.
