Bob Howry ready to show his class again

The Chicago Cubs coach Lou Piniella is pretty much confident that his wily old fox Bob Howry will soon fall in track to be in the closer’s spot for the Cubs. Howry has been totally out of touch this spring season and this opened the doors for Kerry Wood to step in as Cubs closer man. Howry’s last three appearances for Chicago Cubs shows that he is slightly finding his touch again, but still there is lot of work to be done on his pitching.
Howry says that throwing the ball at 90 mph down the middle of the plate and expecting that the ball will not be hit is a totally bad idea and says that repeated practice and increase in the pitching speed will be more beneficial. Howry is confident that through the rigorous pitching training he will be able to deliver the goods soon for his team. The Chicago fans who has purchased tickets to watch Howry’s game is expecting him to turn the tide in his favor.
