Dempster offered tickets for Mother’s Day game
The Chicago Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster has provided 50 tickets to the military families that suffered badly during the Iraq war to witness the game that the Chicago Cubs played against Arizona Diamondbacks on Mother’s Day. Dempster usually provides tickets to the families on Father’s Day and it is due to the fact that the Cubs will be on the road during the Father’s Day period that he decided to give the tickets on Mother’s Day. Dempster met the families on Sunday and entertained them by having lunch with them. Some of the families invited for this season have their mothers doing national duty overseas.
