Chicago Cubs finally lose a game at home
The Chicago Cubs 14 game winning streak at the Wrigley Stadium came to a grinding halt when they were beaten by the Baltimore Orioles 7-5 last Tuesday night. Brian Roberts played really well on Tuesday in which he not only made three hits but also reached the 1,000 hit of his career. The Cubs manager Lou Piniella was a dejected man after the Tuesday’s loss and was particularly unhappy with the way the Cubs final three at-bats played in the ninth inning. The Cubs were able to show their powers only in the seventh inning of the game. The Cubs fans with tickets to the next home game are only hoping for the Cubs to come up with a better performance.
