The New York Mets acquired outfielder Angel Pagan from the Chicago Cubs for a pair of minor leaguers. Outfielder Corey Coles and Ryan Meyers (right-handed pitcher) were sent to the Cubs. Pagan batted .264 with four home runs and 21 RBIs for Chicago last year.

The Cubs will add 70 box seats along the third-base line at Wrigley Field. And they will install new advertising signage inside the ballpark in 2008.
